Our Veggies

Our focus is on heirloom and open-pollinated varieties and local seed sources. We never use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides in our growing practices. Our goal is to provide a diverse mix of seasonal vegetables from week-to-week, including many familiar vegetables and some less familiar, specialty varieties.

Below is a library of the vegetables we grow. Some variation from this is guaranteed due to seed availability, growing conditions, farmer interest and customer demand. Take a look:

A compact, space-saving Zucchini with meaty flavor and a very long season. Raven’s dark green, cylindrical fruits are smooth-skinned, glossy and especially tender fleshed with consistently delicious flavour.

Zucchini: Soleil

Zucchini: Soleil (Cucurbita pepo)

This compact zucchini plant produces butter yellow fruits that have a sweeter flavour than their green relatives. Because of its increased resistance to powdery mildews, Soleil offers a longer harvest period than other zucchini varieties. Delicious on the BBQ!
